Art Trail 2026

It’s that time of year again! Creative Lincs have been busy organising the open studios event in Lincolnshire. This year it is even bigger with over 80 artists and businesses taking part. I have new work which will be at the Indigo Crow Gallery www.indigocrowgallery.com and at my open studio The Farmhouse, Chapel Road, Fiskerton, LN3 4HD.

I say “studio” but in fact it is my garage! My actual studio is way too small, this way I can spread out, have a few pieces in progress and more work on display. there will also be prints, cards and mugs, coasters and other merchandise available. If you are in the area, do drop in for a chat, 10 am to 4 pm Friday 26 to Sunday 28 June.

Back in April and May, when everywhere was bright with oilseed rape flowers, or so it seemed from where I am in Lincolnshire, I was inspired to paint the world yellow. It is such a happy colour and contrasts beautifully with the dark blue of the often stormy skies! I am however struggling to name them. Bring me Sunshine, Fields of Gold, Good day Sunshine, Here Comes the Sun, Sunny Afternoon, Save it for a Sunny Day, Jealous of the Sun, all of these song titles, and more spring to mind!
