Watercolour Challenge

I recently went on a painting holiday in Scotland where the tuition was mainly watercolours with some sketching thrown in, neither of which is in my comfort zone. Which is sad because I started out by painting in watercolour. There is a different skill set to watercolours which if you don’t keep practising is easy to lose. However, with the excellent tuition and guidance of Mark, the tutor, the challenge that I anticipated turned out to be most enjoyable, and I managed not to disgrace myself entirely.

Next week sees the start of a new joint exhibition at Indigo Crow, Alison Kemp, a fused glass artist, Robyn Smith an artist who works with felted wool and `i will be showing our work from 5th to 17th August. Indigo Crow, 57 Burton Road, Lincoln, LN1 3JY.
